Good Grief! It's a peculiar phrase when you think about it. What on earth is good about grief?

Sadly, my Dad passed away last month so I find myself dropped into the grieving process with all its twists and turns. At times it feels very gentle and at other times it feels like a knife in my stomach. Thankfully the soul never gives up and it's reminding me to be very gentle with myself right now and look after myself, physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. I, like you, are born with a team of Source, Spirit, angels, guides and departed loved ones who remind us of who we truly are. They guide us to reconnect to our soul. Simply because I ask, they are helping me big time right now. All I have to do is be quiet enough to hear and feel them.

So, here's the thing. My Dad left a bit of a mess behind, such as the new will with gifts for my young boys, unsigned and a huge amount of money seemingly invested in a scam. When I first discovered it I was really afraid and pissed off. I asked, prayed and affirmed for compassion, forgiveness and peace for all concerned. In a matter of days I was able to let go of any worry, anger and unforgiveness. I am at peace being so grateful for having had my Dad as my Dad for over 40 years. What more could I wish for. The family inheritance doesn't matter at all. I know in my soul that me and my family and all of us always have exactly what we need.

I now feel free, lighter and sometimes even able to shine through the grief. It still hurts but I have found the good in the grief.

Of course, there are all sorts of grief and loss. Such as when we, or those we love, move homes, jobs, schools and when relationships end. On my last Radio appearance, this lady was griefing at the loss of her granddaughter as her son had split up from his wife. This lady lives close by to her granddaughter. She used to see her very often but due to custody discussions is now not allowed to see her. Her griefing is profound.

Like you, she has a team of angels and guides supporting her. Kuan Yin, Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene are surrounding her in pink light and comforting her and giving her extra compassion, forgiveness and unconditional love right now. She has the opportunity to forgive, let go and with this love in her heart a real possibility to be a great support for her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. When we forgive, we create peace all around us and inside of us.

The Universe continues to teach us that our biggest challenges are our biggest gifts. When we choose to ask for help, listen to it and act upon it then our light can shine through any shadow. Think about it for a second. What creates the shadow anyway? It's just something in the way of the sun right, or the sun moving to another part of the world.

I invite you to get quiet and reconnect to your soul and "celestial" team and ask for what you want. It may not come in the way you expect but it will come and free you up to shine as brightly as you choose, even through the shadows.
